About Angel Cashmere

When my brother Jamie and I founded Angel Cashmere in 2006 the priority for us was to ensure we delivered the finest quality products at real value for money - we think we have and hope you agree!

It all started with a little conversation I had with Jamie about my unsuccessful search for a contemporary cashmere baby blanket for a friend's baby. An idea came to us that, with Jamie's technical expertise and vast experience in the cashmere industry and my enthusiasm and inspiration following the birth of my babies, we could bring an original, stylish product to this market ourselves. So, Angel Cashmere was born, specializing in the design and production of luxury baby blankets. In time, we also hope to add a small line of baby clothes.

Jamie and I are from Fife, Scotland. Jamie studied textiles at Herriot Watt Textile University before working in the Scottish cashmere industry for over 6 years. Following company promotion in 2004 he and his partner Claire relocated to Beijing to work in the Chinese cashmere industry - a thriving market, now producing some of the world's finest cashmere garments. He is now fluent in Mandarin and continues to expand his expertise and knowledge of cashmere as well as increase his connections in the textile world.

I left Scotland in 1992. I spent time working and travelling in various parts of the world, before arriving in London during 2001, where I currently live with my husband Craig, our son Harry and daughter Holly. In between running after my very active children, I manage Angel Cashmere.

I believe and hope that having my own children has inspired me to provide the best possible product available and that the hard work and research we put into creating our finished items will give you a product you'll love for many years to come.

Jan 2009 - Some exciting news ... as well as the fact Craig & I recently tied the knot as you'll see from the new family shot, we've also up packed up our little family and are now living in Singapore for a short time.  Angel Cashmere will run as normal with your orders being dealt with just as quickly and efficiently as always.  We have a lovely lady called Maureen working for us in UK now and if you can't get hold of me she's always available to help with any problems you may have.   You can enter any enquires onto the 'Contact us' page or email me directly at michelle@angelcashmere.com.  We'd love to hear from you!
